Located at 1364 Lincoln Avenue in the heart of Calistoga,
Boskos brings Italian comfort food to the upper Napa Valley. With
its spectacular setting, simple “Italian classics”, exciting
value-priced wine menu, warm and friendly service and large servings
at reasonable prices, Boskos sets the standard for casual Italian
dining.
As you can imagine, Italian food is only good if it is made fresh.
Our owner/ chef and kitchen manager take pride every day in using
only the freshest ingredients available. Our fresh home made pasta
is made daily in our kitchen, along with our Napoletana style, thin
crisp, yeasty pizza. Which we bake in our Italian wood fired oven.
Although our food is simple to make, it takes a lot of patience to
make it good.
Boskos is your home away from home, where the locals and tourists
gather. So dress casually, bring your appetite, and we will see you
soon. |

Boskos first opened on the corner across the street from our present
location, in 1983, where we stayed for ten years. Then we purchased
the building where we are today. Our building was originally built
in 1888 from sandstone quarried on the Silverado Trail; the same stone
used on many buildings, wineries, and bridges around the Valley. In
the early 1900’s the building was used as a grocery store, then
divided to 2 spaces as gift shops, until we remodeled and retrofitted
in 1993. The building was partially burned in the 1905 fire; you can
still see charred wood on the ceiling while seated in the dining room.
After the remodel in 1993, the building received an award for preservation
from the Napa Valley Landmarks, Inc. |
